DJ Grove (real name Evgeny Anatolievich Rudin; born April 6, 1972 in Apatity, Murmansk Region. April 6, 1972, Apatity, Murmansk Region) - Russian DJ, electronic musician. Musical preferences in terms of DJing are in the field of house, downtempo, techno and other styles. Born in Apatity, Murmansk region. He studied at Apatity Secondary School #6 in the same class as Andrey Malakhov. In 1989, Rudin left Murmansk for St. Petersburg and entered the vocal department at the Conservatory. He studied there for almost two years, singing arias and romances by Tchaikovsky. In 1991, one of his friends took him to a party on the Fontanka, where he saw DJs playing music from vinyl records for the first time. There he met DJs Alexei Haas and Mikhail Vorontsov, from whom he began to learn how to DJ, playing Orbital records. Grove's first show was in 1992 at the Planetarium club after the Gagarin Party. At that time his program consisted of several styles: he started with house, then passed to harder techno and finished with breakbeat. He was married to Alexandra Rudina, a member of the Audio Girls project. Divorced in 2015. Married for the second time in February 2016 to Denise Vartpatrikova. DJ Grove collected wine, graduated from sommelier courses, and runs his own school of electronic music "DJ Grove Audio School". Son Mark (born August 12, 2017). At the X Ceremony of Top Hit Music Awards Russia in 2023 he received a special award from TopHit and IPEX for the development of the synchronization market in Russia. He has recently composed music for more than 20 movies and TV series.
