The band's name Zdob și Zdub is inspired by the hitting sounds of the drums. The rhythm and beats of these "southern shamans" skillfully evoke a happy dancing vibe in all audiences. Zdob și Zdub played on the same stage with bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Emir Kusturica & No Smoking Orchestra, Korn, Rage Against The Machine, Soulfly, The Garbage, Fun Lovin’ Criminals and Linkin Park. Zdob și Zdub represented Moldova at Eurovision three times: in 2005, 2011 and 2022. In 2022, Zdob și Zdub performed on the Eurovision stage together with the Advakhov brothers. The song "Trenulețul" took them to the 7th place in total points and to the 2nd place in points received from the public.
