FLO first teased the song on their Twitter account , tweeting the words “FLY GIRL ??” on the 13th of March, 2023. Fans immediately responded, showing their excitement for the latest FLO song since their January 2022 release, where they were featured on a remix of “Hide and Seek” by Stormzy
On the following day after revealing the song title, a video montage of the girls of FLO , Jorja Douglas, Renée Downer, and Stella Quaresma, was released along with a link to pre-save the song ,which was previously sent in their official Discord server.
The hype for the song grew faster than ever, especially within their Twitter community of fans (called FLOLIFERS) who showed obvious signs of excitement towards the single. On the 17th of March, 2023, FLO’s Twitter account tweeted once again, but this time a link leading their fans to TikTok , where they’d be met up by a new snippet of the song. Fans immediately started pushing for the song to be released.
