Unlike other songs, Jerry Heil's verse is written on behalf of a young guy. Thus, according to the artist, she wanted to emphasize the contrast and show that she is not singing on her own behalf.
"The first performance of the chorus is puzzling: "I will not return in the spring". Did the boy die? But since his image is a symbol of my indomitable people in the song, then in the second chorus there is an explanation: "I will return - and it will snow", and in the epilogue - "I will return as the scythes touch the stems." That is, he will stand and bring victory home in the summer, and snow will fall as a symbol of a miracle," says Jerry Heil.
The presence of lines from the ceremonial Ukrainian folk art "Zeleneye zhyto" (Green rye, green) also adds to the symbolism.
"We believe in the quick victory of Ukraine! And our next song will definitely be about it. Today, we want to sing our song "Stiny" with Jeri, which, we hope, will become the mantra of our victory already this summer", says the leader of KALUSH, Oleh Psiuk.
