According to Vakarchuk, the main idea of the song, hidden in the title, is complicated. "The main battle is within each of us, within our society. After all, "your war" is the fight against your own complexes, fears to change something, to influence what is happening around you, not to blame "somewhere and someone," but to take the situation into your own hands. It - is extremely difficult, but without it there is no successful future either for a person, or for society, or for the country", - notes Vakarchuk. The work on the composition began in October last year, and the first part was created just in five minutes. Sviatoslav: "I wrote the chorus right away. I sat down at the piano and that's it - I didn't change a word anymore, I just sat down and started playing. And then I realized that I was emotionally exhausted, that I couldn't write anything now and just had to wait." The work was completed in January 2015. After the song appeared, it was decided to shoot a video for it right away and present it together. The director, the author of the idea of the video was Howard Greenhalgh. For OE it is the second experience of working with the famous Briton. The first joint video was the clip for the song "Embrace".
