Billie Eilish has once again been named Artist of the Year by Apple Music, highlighting her significant impact on the music industry over the past year. The award, presented in the form of a unique 12-inch vinyl record made from Apple chips, symbolizes recognition of her talent and contributions to music.
In her statement, Eilish expressed how honored she feels to receive such acknowledgment after years of her artistic journey, especially considering the support she has received from Apple Music since the beginning of her career. This collaboration kicked off back in 2018 when one of her songs was featured in Apple’s holiday ad campaign. In 2021, her journey to success was further showcased with a documentary released on Apple TV+.
This year, Billie released her third studio album, "HIT ME HARD AND SOFT," which soared to the number one spot on the Apple Music charts across all genres in 138 countries. Additionally, her soundtrack piece "What Was I Made For?" from the Barbie film won a Grammy for Song of the Year. With this achievement, Eilish has become the first artist to win the Apple Music Award twice, a testament to her extraordinary talent and enduring success in the music industry.
