Taylor Swift’s groundbreaking Eras Tour has shattered records, officially grossing over $2 billion in ticket sales. Wrapping up on December 8 at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, the tour covered 149 shows across 21 months, leaving an indelible mark on the music industry.
The numbers are staggering: $2,077,618,725 in total ticket revenue, 10,168,008 fans attending worldwide, and an average ticket price of $204. These figures, provided by Taylor Swift Touring, do not even account for merchandise sales or secondary ticket profits.
This achievement not only makes Eras the highest-grossing tour of all time but also doubles the record set by Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour, which previously held the title for the highest-grossing rock tour.
In the past year alone, Swift has set numerous records. At the tour's midpoint in December 2023, it became the first tour in history to gross $1 billion. The Eras momentum even extended beyond the stage: a book documenting the tour sold over 800,000 copies in its first weekend.
Additionally, Swift celebrated the success of The Tortured Poets Department, which became the most-streamed album of 2024 on Apple Music and earned record-breaking accolades, including spending its first 12 weeks atop the Billboard 200.
