Usher’s ongoing Past Present Future tour has been making waves, but it’s not just his legendary performances that have people talking. A fan’s seductive attempt to impress the R&B star mid-show has become the internet’s latest obsession.
Captured during one of his recent US tour dates, a fan was spotted dramatically eating a cherry while locking eyes with Usher. Instead of being impressed, the singer froze, offering a reaction that can only be described as hilariously unimpressed. Social media quickly latched onto the moment, and the clip has since gone viral.
This isn’t the first time cherries have taken the spotlight at Usher’s shows. As part of his set, the singer hands out cherries to fans in the crowd, and it seems some audience members have taken this as a cue to perform their own… unique interpretations of seduction.
Another clip making the rounds shows Usher’s bodyguard reacting to the cherry antics with equal levels of disapproval. His side-eye and attempts to avoid watching the unfolding scene have earned him just as much attention as the fans themselves.
The Past Present Future tour follows Usher’s career-defining Super Bowl Halftime Show earlier this year, where he delivered a jaw-dropping performance in Las Vegas. With the North American leg wrapping up soon, the tour is set to head to the UK and Europe next spring, including a 10-night residency at London’s O2 Arena and a finale at Berlin’s Uber Arena in May.
