Paul McCartney Gears Up for Epic UK and European Tour Finale

Paul McCartney is ready to rock the stage once again with a string of headline shows across the UK and Europe later this year. The Beatles icon will light up Paris and Madrid this December on his "Got Back" tour, before returning to his homeland for two nights at Manchester's Co-Op Live arena (December 14, 15) and two gigs at London’s The O2 (December 18, 19).

Tickets go on sale at this Friday (June 21), and if his past performances are anything to go by, they’ll disappear faster than you can say “Hey Jude.” McCartney shared his excitement in a statement: "I’m thrilled to end my year and 2024 tour dates in the UK. Playing shows on home soil is always such a special feeling. It’s going to be an amazing end to the year."

The legendary musician added with his trademark charm, "Let’s get set to party. I can’t wait to see you."

This highly-anticipated return marks McCartney’s first UK performances since his headline set at Glastonbury 2022. London fans haven’t seen him live since 2018, and Manchester hasn’t felt the magic since 2011. Clearly, the wait has been too long.

Before the UK leg, McCartney will be charming audiences in South America with a series of shows in October, proving that he’s far from slowing down.

2022 saw the release of his latest solo masterpiece, "McCartney III", reminding us all why he’s a timeless musical force. And if that wasn’t enough, last month he officially became the UK’s first billionaire musician, a testament to his enduring influence and success.

In other news, the buzz is that Sam Mendes is set to bring the Fab Four to the big screen in his upcoming Beatles biopics. Paul Mescal (Normal People, Aftersun) is reportedly stepping into McCartney’s shoes, adding a dash of cinematic magic to the mix.

So, get ready for an unforgettable musical journey with Sir Paul. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to his legendary tunes, this tour promises to be the ultimate celebration of a career that’s spanned decades and touched millions.
