This past week, we've received many inquiries from new radio stations asking how to test tracks on TopHit. We're happy to explain.
1. Testing new hits on TopHit is straightforward. Since your votes as radio stations carry significant weight, the first step is to log in to tophit.com with your credentials. This ensures that TopHit recognizes you as a radio station representative rather than a regular visitor checking charts and reading music news.
2. On the homepage, in the "Rate New Hits!" section, click on any track artwork to start playing it immediately.
3. As the track begins, you'll see a green like and a red dislike button below the artwork. These are your primary tools for testing.
4. If you like what you hear, click the like button; if not, click the dislike button. That's all it takes to complete the testing process!
Remember, tracks you haven't tested in the "Rate New Hits!" section will appear in black and white and without titles, while those you've already rated will be in color, with titles and artist names.
If you find switching to a new track each time tedious, use the SCAN button in the player. Each track will play for just 15 seconds before automatically moving to the next one, creating a test playlist. You can rate all the tracks you hear from the player at the top of the page.
You can also test tracks anywhere on the site, not just in the "Rate New Hits!" section - check out Music Arrivals, TopHit charts, and even Golden Hits.
