The Offspring Announce New Album "Supercharged"

The Offspring, the legendary punk rock band from California, have just revealed details of their upcoming album, ‘Supercharged’. Set to drop on October 11 via Concord, this new LP is the highly anticipated follow-up to their 2021 hit album "Let The Bad Times Roll".

The band emphasized that their main goal with "Supercharged" was to recapture the raw energy and intensity that initially catapulted them to fame. To achieve this, they once again teamed up with renowned producer Bob Rock.

To mark the announcement, The Offspring released the lead single "Make It All Right" today (June 7). The track offers a glimpse into what fans can expect from the album, delivering a hard-hitting burst of energy, a powerful chorus, and their trademark punk rock riffs. The song explores the feeling of having a “partner in crime” – someone who gives you the confidence that everything will eventually be okay.

“We wanted this record to be pure energy from start to finish. That’s why we called it "SUPERCHARGED",” frontman Dexter Holland explained. "From the height of our aspirations to the depths of our struggles, we talk about it all on this record…in a way that celebrates the life that we share and where we are now,”

He added, “‘Make It All Right’ is a great example because it’s about the people in our lives who make us feel strong when we’re feeling low – our partners in crime who help us feel alright.”

Holland also shared insights into the recording process: “The album was recorded in three different locations this time around: Maui, Vancouver, and our home studio in Huntington Beach, and together with our producer Bob Rock everything came out awesome".

“I feel like this is the best we have ever sounded! We’ve been rocking out and head-banging to it for months! And we can’t wait for you guys to hear it!”

The announcement of "Supercharged" comes just days before The Offspring take the stage at the Download Festival in Donnington. Their set, scheduled for Saturday, June 15, will be their first UK performance since headlining the Slam Dunk Festival last year.

This news follows their recent performance at Napa’s BottleRock Festival, where they surprised fans by bringing out Ed Sheeran for a rendition of "Million Miles Away" from their 2000 album "Conspiracy of One". Last month, at the Starmus VII festival in Bratislava, Slovakia, they also delighted the crowd by performing "Gone Away" and "Stone Cold Crazy" with Queen’s Brian May.

With "Supercharged", The Offspring are ready to bring their signature sound back with a fresh, energetic twist, promising an album that fans old and new will appreciate.
