On May 10th, TopHit dropped the Top YouTube Hits Global Weekly Chart for the week ending May 9, 2024.
Best newcomers of the week in YouTube Global Top 100 for the week ending May 9 are:
Hip-hop heavyweights Drake and Kendrick Lamar have dropped the mics after the mutual diss tracks fuelling the old feud.
Lamar has topped YouTube Global weekly chart just as he did in Spotify Global Top 100 - the hottest rap song in the world this week, Not Like Us, debuted on Number 1.
His previous drop, Euphoria (another ruthless attack on Drake) is another brand new hit of the week at Number 4.
Drake’s response to Lamar’s diss tracks, Family Matters (and not only to him - in his diss Canadian rapper targets several artists, such as Future, A$AP Rocky and even The Weekend) starts from 5th position.

Last week, 28% of tracks on YouTube were in English, 21% in Spanish with Pop, Dance and R&B reigning as the most popular genres.
