Renowned classical singer Andrea Bocelli is set to headline BST Hyde Park 2024 in London, marking a historic first for the concert series. The highly anticipated event will take place on Friday, July 5, and promises an unforgettable evening as Bocelli celebrates the 30th anniversary of his illustrious career.
Organizers have revealed an impressive lineup of special guests who will join Bocelli on stage. Among them are acclaimed composer Hans Zimmer, iconic singer Seal, and other notable artists including Zucchero, Loren Allred, Joaquina, Andrea Griminelli, Rusanda Panfili, and Bocelli’s 12-year-old daughter, Virginia. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Michele Spotti, will accompany the performers, with dancers Angelica Gismondo and Francesco Costa adding a touch of elegance to the evening.
This extraordinary assembly of talent joins previously announced artists Katherine Jenkins and Bocelli’s son Matteo, who will both present their own exclusive sets. The event will be hosted by Myleene Klass and will feature performances by Nadine Sierra, Isabel Leonard, Luca Micheletti, and the Crouch End Festival Chorus. Additional performers are expected to be announced in the coming months.
Expressing his excitement, Bocelli shared: “Hyde Park is the perfect place for coming together to celebrate my 30th anniversary and reimagine it as a springboard propelling us into the future, imbued with positivity and the power of good.”
Bocelli added: “Celebrating it here is sure to be unforgettable, in the vast green lung from which London has been drawing breath for hundreds of years, in this park that is the embodiment of a glorious chapter in the history of a nation, of a continent, of a civilisation… and also of so much wonderful music that has rung out here, nourishing it in its wake.”
The BST Hyde Park series will also feature a stellar lineup of headliners this summer, including SZA (June 29), Kings Of Leon (June 30), Morgan Wallen (July 4), Robbie Williams (July 6), Shania Twain (July 7), Stevie Nicks (July 12), Kylie Minogue (July 13), and Stray Kids (July 14).
As anticipation builds, fans can look forward to an evening of extraordinary performances and celebrations, making Andrea Bocelli’s 30th anniversary show a highlight of the summer festival season.
