TopHit dropped the Top YouTube Hits Global Monthly Chart of May 2024
Best newcomers of the month in YouTube Global Top 100 are:
Welcome to TopHit! In May 2024, American rapper Kendrick Lamar made a notable debut in second place on Global YouTube's music chart. His track Not Like Us might not be a genre classic, but it featured the most captivating rap battle in years. Experts declared Kendrick the winner, while Drake surprised fans by deleting his diss tracks from Instagram. Kudos to Kendrick, the reigning king of YouTube, whereas Drake only managed 74th place with Family Matters.
The top dance pop track of the month on Global YouTube was a surprising hit by Pedro, which pays homage to the legendary Raffaella Carra and gets everyone dancing to this nostalgic camp banger. Other standout new releases included the K-pop girl band Aespa and singer-songwriter Tommy Richman. As expected, the chart leader in May 2024 was Gata Only, a sizzling Latin collaboration between FloyyMenor and Cris Mj. It’s no wonder this track dominated the top spot, except for one week when Kendrick Lamar briefly took the lead, before the duo quickly reclaimed their number one status on Global YouTube. Congratulations to all!
