Charli XCX and Billie Eilish Donate 10,000 Pairs of Pants to Charity from Guess Music Video

Charli XCX and Billie Eilish have made headlines again, but this time for a charitable cause. The duo has donated 10,000 pairs of pants used in the video for their latest collaboration, ‘Guess,’ to the charity I Support The Girls.

The collaboration, which premiered on August 1, features a remix of the ‘Brat’ deluxe edition track ‘Guess,’ co-produced by The Dare and Finneas. The music video is a spectacle, showcasing ten thousand pairs of underwear, including a memorable scene where Eilish drives a bulldozer into a massive pile of them.

As the catchy chorus goes, “you wanna guess the colour of my underwear/ you wanna know what I’ve got going on down there,” the pants fall from the sky and litter the streets. In the video’s credits, a message notes that all the unworn garments would be donated to I Support The Girls, a US-based charity that distributes underwear and period products to women experiencing domestic violence, homelessness, and hardship.

The charity expressed their gratitude on Twitter/X, stating, “We’re so lucky to be getting the formidable panty mountain!”

This collaboration with Eilish comes hot on the heels of Charli XCX’s announcement that more new music is on the way, despite several op-eds declaring the end of her ‘Brat summer’. The album has had a significant cultural impact, with artists like Chappell Roan sharing their love for it, and Charli recently brought the album to Ibiza for a ‘Party Girl’-inspired set at the Boiler Room.

Meanwhile, Billie Eilish continues to break records, becoming the third artist to reach 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and the youngest to achieve this milestone.

In a twist, some fans believe that certain lyrics in ‘Guess’ might be a subtle diss towards Taylor Swift, adding even more buzz around the track.
