The Weeknd Teases New Music with Mysterious Video

The Weeknd is building anticipation for his next musical chapter with a cryptic new video. Following his initial teaser in July, where he shared a snippet of fresh music on Instagram accompanied by a quote from German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, the Canadian artist (real name Abel Tesfaye) is back with another intriguing visual titled "Unprepared certainty…".

The nearly three-and-a-half-minute video hints at what’s to come with snippets from two unreleased tracks. The first segment features grand, dark strings as Tesfaye dramatically chants, “I’m all alone when it fades to black.” The second part shifts the mood with a strummed acoustic guitar and a foreboding message: “You can change locations, you can change your name / They will always find a way.”

Adding to the excitement, The Weeknd is set to perform a “one-night-only” show in Brazil, promising fans an unforgettable experience with “never-before-seen production.” Scheduled for September 7 at the Estádio MorumBIS in São Paulo, this special gig will also support a good cause. In partnership with the UN World Food Programme, $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to the XO Humanitarian Fund to combat the global hunger crisis.
