Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, and Chicane Unveil Trance Treasures in Vinyl Auction

Trance enthusiasts, get ready to dig deep into your wallets! Starting Monday (Aug. 12), over 50 iconic trance tracks and albums will be up for grabs in a special auction on Amplifyd, the renowned online platform known for offering rare music collectibles and unique experiences. Amplifyd, which has previously hosted auctions for industry heavyweights like Danny Tenaglia and events like EDC Las Vegas, is now bringing some of trance music's most treasured vinyl records to the forefront.

This exclusive auction features timeless classics such as Tiësto’s legendary 2004 remix of Delerium’s "Silence" featuring Sarah McLachlan, Sasha’s influential 1999 Xpander EP, Chicane’s ethereal "Saltwater" from 1999, and a collection of Armin van Buuren’s celebrated albums. The sale also showcases works from other trance giants like Gouryella, BT, Ferry Corsten, Paul Oakenfold, and System F.

Each record is an original pressing from its release year and comes autographed by the respective artist, making these items a true collector’s dream.

The auction kicks off on Aug. 12 at 9 a.m. ET and runs until Sept. 8, with a fundraising goal of $10,000. Proceeds will be directed to charities chosen by the artists themselves, supporting causes such as WWF, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in New York, and The Cancer Research Institute of London.

Dan Willis, founder and CEO of Amplifyd, personally curated the event and collaborated closely with each artist to bring this project to life. “These records aren’t just pieces of vinyl; they represent a piece of trance history and the memories of countless unforgettable nights,” Willis said in a statement. “I’m incredibly proud that every artist involved is using this opportunity to support a cause close to their heart.”

Whether you’re a long-time trance fan or a vinyl collector, this auction is a unique opportunity to own a piece of electronic music history while contributing to meaningful charitable causes.
