Liam Gallagher has dismissed the rumors about a potential documentary chronicling the highly anticipated Oasis 2025 reunion tour, putting fans’ speculation to rest. The Britpop legends announced their reunion tour earlier this year, including massive UK, Ireland, and international dates.
Despite reports from outlets like The Sun suggesting that a documentary similar to The Beatles: Get Back was in the works for AppleTV+, Liam has firmly denied any such project. Responding to a fan on Twitter/X, Liam wrote: “We’re not doing 1 I’m not gonna be in it anyway I’m doing the gigs there’s been enough said about this band it’s time to get Rocking and Rolling not yapping and scrapping.”
Liam emphasized that Oasis has already shared their story and that the focus should now be on the music and the live shows. He added, “Exactly we’ve been over this bollox a million times and some people have different versions to others we’re back and that’s all that matters to me and should donto the REAL fans of the band.”
While Oasis had previously been the subject of the 2016 documentary Oasis: Supersonic, which explored their rise to fame, Liam has made it clear there’s no need for more behind-the-scenes storytelling.
Oasis will kick off their 2025 reunion tour across North America, with additional shows planned for Australia, Asia, and South America. They’ve confirmed there won’t be a Glastonbury headline slot or other festival appearances next year.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the tour, with speculation mounting over the opening acts, including Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft and Cast, who recently supported Liam on his solo tour.
