On August 8th, TopHit dropped the Top Spotify Hits Global Weekly Chart for the week ending August 9, 2024.

The Spotify Global Weekly Chart top new releases are:

Charli XCX secured the fifth spot with the most notable debut of the week on Spotify. Without a doubt, she has already made history with her brilliant latest album, Brat, which has reaffirmed her status as one of the most creative and fashionable pop stars of our time. The track Guess featuring Billie Eilish, thrilled listeners, garnering over 16 million streams. It’s a rare chance to hear Billie’s vocals on an electro-house banger.

 

Other new releases include English-language hip-hop by Indian artists (ranking 19th) and another new track from Jimin. Be Mine landed in 44th place, and in mid-July, the K-pop idol released his second studio album, Muse, which features just seven tracks. Be Mine has firmly established itself as a fan favorite, with the song amassing over 6 million streams on Spotify in a week. Jimin also topped the chart with the single Who, which attracted significant attention and dethroned Billie Eilish from the number one spot, with over 27 million streams.
