On August 11th, TopHit dropped the Top All Media Hits Global Weekly Chart for the week ending August 8, 2024.
Best newcomers of the week in All Media Global Top 100 for the week ending August 8:
One of the most talked-about musical comebacks in recent months has been the unexpected resurgence of a hit song from the year 2000 on global charts. *NSYNC, who once ruled the charts with their iconic R&B anthem Bye Bye Bye, saw the song make a surprise return after being featured in the soundtrack for the Marvel blockbuster Deadpool and Wolverine. Gen Z audiences have quickly embraced the track for its catchy and timeless appeal. The song reached at number seven and has already racked up over 26 million streams on YouTube. Fans are now eagerly watching to see if Madonna’s iconic pop hit Like A Prayer, which also featured in the film, will make its way onto the charts.
As for the best new release, predictably, Guess featuring Billie Eilish took the 14th spot—a killer, utterly unexpected collaboration between Billie Eilish and Charli XCX . Incidentally, Billie performed at the Olympics' closing ceremony, delivering her hit Birds Of A Feather, which is currently in 4th place on All Media Global.
