On August 23th, TopHit dropped the Top Spotify Hits Global Weekly Chart for the week ending August 22, 2024.

Ranking 5th this week is a standout release that's generating buzz. Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga, who've known each other since 2016, finally joined forces in the summer of 2024 for an unexpected collaboration. Gaga praised Mars' talents as beyond description, while Bruno recognized that only a pop icon could help turn their composition into something truly magical. The result is Die With A Smile, a dazzling retro track paying tribute to the soft rock and soul of the 1970s. The song has already surpassed 33 million streams.
In 9th place is another captivating collaboration. Blackpink's LISA, a Thai hip-hop artist and dancer, partnered with modern flamenco star Rosalía to create the electro hit New Woman. The track quickly became a Spotify sensation, amassing over 26 million streams within a week.

Last week, 83% of tracks on the air were in English, 14% in Spanish, with Pop, Power Pop, Singer/Songwriter and R&B reigning as the most popular genres.
