It looks like it’s not time to deck the halls just yet—at least according to the Queen of Christmas herself, Mariah Carey. In a new video shared on her social media, Carey humorously told fans that the holiday season isn’t quite here, saying, "Not yet!" as she sat aboard a private jet headed for the North Pole. "They always rush me," she added with a playful smile.
While Carey might be holding off on the festive vibes for now, the holiday season will be in full swing soon enough. She’s set to kick off her ‘Christmas Time’ tour on November 6 in California, a spectacular series of shows that will run through November and December. Fans can expect grand performances of holiday classics, including her iconic “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” along with other fan favorites.
The tour marks the 30th anniversary of her beloved album Merry Christmas and promises to be her biggest holiday celebration yet. Fans are also teased with more surprises in store for this milestone.
Although Carey is known for her holiday cheer, it’s been a difficult time for the singer, who lost both her mother and sister in August. Despite the personal loss, Mariah’s festive spirit will undoubtedly shine when the time is right.
