The Beatles Announce 60th Anniversary Reissue of "A Hard Day’s Night"

In celebration of its 60th anniversary, The Beatles have announced a special reissue of their iconic 1964 album A Hard Day’s Night. The reissue, set for release on October 19, will come in the form of a limited edition 180g white vinyl pressing. The release also coincides with National Album Day, adding even more reason to celebrate.

*Released as the band's third studio album, A Hard Day's Night marked a significant moment in The Beatles’ career as it was the first album written entirely by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. It also served as a partial soundtrack for the band's first film, capturing their evolution as songwriters and featuring classic tracks like the title song and "Can't Buy Me Love," both of which topped charts on both sides of the Atlantic.

On the live front, Paul McCartney recently surprised fans by performing the track Now And Then live for the first time in Montevideo, Uruguay, during the opening night of his Got Back tour. The song, which was released in 2023 as The Beatles' “final” song, was created with the help of AI technology, allowing the late John Lennon and George Harrison to be featured alongside McCartney and Ringo Starr.

McCartney’s tour will continue across South America, the UK, and Europe, with four UK shows set for December, two in Manchester and two in London. In more Beatles news, a new documentary titled 1964 is coming to Apple TV+ later this year, offering fans an in-depth look at the year the group took America by storm.
