The glam metal icons Poison have officially announced a reunion for 2026, and fans of the ’80s rockers can look forward to seeing the classic lineup—Bret Michaels, Rikki Rockett, Bobby Dall, and C.C. DeVille—back in action. In a recent interview with SiriusXM’s Trunk Nation, drummer Rikki Rockett shared that the band’s return is locked in, with all members agreeing to reunite for the epic comeback.
The news gained momentum when host Eddie Trunk read a text from frontman Bret Michaels, who hinted at a 2026 reunion with his message, “When I announced on socials about a week ago when I knew you were gonna come on today,” Trunk said. “Bret sent me a text, Bret Michaels a day or two ago, and he said, ‘Hey, I hear you’re gonna have Rikki Rockett on. Send him my love and tell him Poison 2026.’ What are your thoughts on that? Are you hopeful of that?.”
Rockett confirmed the plan, saying, “Oh yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely. ’26 is for sure gonna happen and like, I mean, unless some unforeseen thing happens, but all band members have stuck their hand in and said, ‘Yeah, we’re definitely doing it without a doubt.” With everyone on board, fans can count on the return of Poison’s electrifying performances and unforgettable rock anthems.
This will be the first time Poison reunites since their last tour in 2022, where they joined Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe on a massive stadium tour. Their last studio album, Poison’d!, dropped in 2007, leaving fans eager for any new material or even a return to their glam-rock glory days.
While Michaels has spent recent years focusing on solo work and navigating a few health hurdles, including diabetes and “headbanger’s neck,” he remains energized and ready for Poison’s next chapter. Although Michaels plans to take most of 2025 off for health reasons, he hinted at the possibility of select Poison shows in the meantime. It looks like 2026 could be the year of Poison, and rock fans everywhere are already marking their calendars.
