KISS is taking their legacy to the next level with an upcoming avatar-powered show, merging tech, spectacle, and rock 'n' roll to create a wild new concert experience. In collaboration with Pophouse Entertainment, the company behind ABBA’s revolutionary Voyage show, KISS’ digital avatars will give fans a 3D experience blending cutting-edge visuals, pyrotechnics, and immersive theatrics. According to Paul Stanley, this won’t be a mere imitation of a live concert — think “Cirque Du Soleil meets Star Wars and a KISS concert.” This ambitious project is designed to push boundaries and redefine what a concert can be.
The partnership with Pophouse, which acquired KISS' catalog and brand rights earlier this year, was unveiled with a teaser at KISS’ Madison Square Garden farewell concert in December. Now, Stanley and co-founder Gene Simmons are already giving fans glimpses of what’s in store. Describing the avatars as “identical” to the original band members, Stanley teased immersive elements like “heat and fire and wind and things flying around,” making it a visceral experience that transports fans into the wild world of KISS.
Set for launch in 2027, the show is part of KISS’ promise to continue rocking audiences long after their live performance days. The band has reportedly invested around $200 million in this project, working alongside George Lucas and Pophouse’s Swedish creative team to bring it to life.
Reflecting on handing over the reins of the KISS brand, Stanley described it as “leaving home,” acknowledging the challenge of entrusting their legacy to others after 50 years. “But I’m still Starchild,” he added. “That doesn’t change.” For fans, the journey with KISS isn’t ending — it’s evolving into something even more electrifying.
