The Kylie train is unstoppable! Australian pop legend Kylie Minogue is gearing up for the release of Tension II on October 18, a much-anticipated sequel to her chart-topping album Tension. To celebrate, Kylie will embark on a massive world tour in 2025, with stops planned in her homeland Australia, as well as Asia and the United Kingdom.
Leading the charge is the fiery new single “Lights Camera Action,” set to drop on September 27. Fans can expect 13 brand-new tracks, including the dance anthem “Edge of Saturday Night” featuring The Blessed Madonna, plus exciting collaborations with Orville Peck, Bebe Rexha, Tove Lo, and Sia.
In an official statement, Kylie shares her excitement: “I am beyond excited to announce the Tension Tour 2025! I can’t wait to share beautiful and wild moments with fans all over the world, celebrating the Tension era and more! It’s been an exhilarating ride so far and now, get ready for your close up because I will be calling Lights, Camera, Action … and there will be a whole lot of Padaming!”
The tour kicks off with a bang in Australia on February 15 at Perth’s RAC Arena, making up for the cancellation of her highly anticipated Splendour in the Grass 2023 appearance.
Kylie’s career is on fire right now, with Tension hitting No. 1 in both the UK and Australia, propelled by the viral hit “Padam Padam.” The song smashed into the UK top 10 and earned Kylie the Grammy Award for Best Dance Pop Recording. Earlier this year, she received the Global Icon Award at the BRITs and the Billboard Women in Music Icon Award, further solidifying her status as a pop icon.
With a Grammy win for “Padam Padam” and a successful Las Vegas residency, Kylie is set to make 2025 her year.
