Paul McCartney to work with Adele producer Paul Epworth on new album
Paul McCartney is to work with in-demand producer Paul Epworth on his new record.

Epworth has received a number of plaudits this year for his work with Adele, winning four Grammy Awards for `Producer of the Year`, `Album of the Year` (21), `Song of the Year` and `Record of the Year` (`Rolling in the Deep`). He also produced and co-wrote the Skyfall theme song with the singer.

Epworth has also collaborated with Plan B, Florence + the Machine, Bloc Party, Cee-Lo and Friendly Fires, and is currently working on producing Azealia Banks`s debut album.

Now The Sun reports that the former Beatles songwriter has expressed an interest in working with Epworth for his first album of new material since 2007`s Memory Almost Full.

Two other super-producers in Ethan Johns (Kings of Leon, The Vaccines) and Mark Ronson (Bruno Mars, Lily Allen, Amy Winehouse) have also reportedly been involved in early sessions with McCartney.

The 67-year-old narrowly avoided a serious incident this weekend after the helicopter he was travelling in nearly crashed into some trees by his home due to bad weather.
