Meladze to revive VIA Gra with help of new reality show

A week before Meladze announced about the breach of the band on January 1, 2013. It took place right after the leave of the next soloist. The composer declared that VIA Gra exhausted its potential as a band, and from now on he prefers to write songs not for female band but solo artists. Particularly, he said he would help the ex-soloist of the band Albina Dzhanabaeva to build up solo-career.
However, now it was announced that he’d create a new band, starting from a TV reality show “Want to VIA Gra”. All the ladies from the CIS countries will have an opportunity to pass the casting that will take place in December. The shoots of the show will take place in Ukraine, and it’ll be broadcast by NTV in Russia and the Ukrainian 1+1. It’s planned to include 8 releases per week, the first of which will be on on March 8.
