Last night The Killers took to the stage at The O2 in London and gave fans a performance that will be talked about for years to come. As part of their Rebel Diamonds tour , the band surprised the audience with a special appearance by Erasure 's Andy Bell . The duo captivated the audience with a joyous rendition of Erasure's classic hit 'A Little Respect' , before Bell stayed on stage to join The Killers in a rendition of their anthem 'Human'.

The enthralling encore was the second of six solo shows The Killers are scheduled to play at The O2 . The day before, they kicked off their residency with a bang, celebrating Independence Day in true rock 'n' roll style by inviting a lucky fan on stage to play drums on 'For Reasons Unknown' .

If the fireworks weren't enough, frontman Brandon Flowers took a moment to reflect on the band's decades-long career, telling the crowd: "You have to give the world irrefutable evidence that you are who you say you are. We are The Killers - and we are big rock -n-roll band. Let me show it to you." And they showed.

Supporting The Killers on this tour is the legendary Travis, whose frontman Fran Healy joked to NME: "I said to Brandon, 'I hope you know we're going to come out every night and try to knock you off the stage,' and he laughed. He said, ' Come on, try it,' so they're cool guys."

The energy of the tour was simply explosive. The two bands teamed up at Glasgow's OVO Hydrow last week for an unforgettable cover of Aztec Camera's "Somewhere In My Heart."

Reflecting on the band's journey, Flowers shared with NME last year: "I've been caught up in this vortex for 20 years; this cycle of touring, writing songs, touring and writing again. The most reflective time we had was during COVID and that was a real wake-up call to review everything we've done. I'm really proud of the band and our work."

The Rebel Diamonds tour continues at The O2 in London on Sunday, July 7. With more surprises sure to come, it's clear that The Killers aren't done proving their rock 'n' roll power yet.
