The Killers Light Up London with Andy Bell Cameo for "A Little Respect"

Last night, The Killers took the stage at The O2 in London and delivered a performance that fans will be talking about for years. As part of their "Rebel Diamonds" tour, the band surprised the audience with a special guest appearance by none other than Andy Bell of Erasure. The duo brought down the house with a jubilant rendition of Erasure's classic hit "A Little Respect," followed by Bell sticking around to join The Killers for their anthem "Human."

This electrifying encore marked the second of six headline shows The Killers are set to play at The O2. The night before, they kicked off their residency with a bang, celebrating Independence Day in true rock 'n' roll fashion by inviting a lucky fan on stage to play drums on "For Reasons Unknown."

As if the fireworks weren't enough, frontman Brandon Flowers took a moment to reflect on the band's storied career, telling the crowd, “You’ve got to give the world irrefutable proof that you are who you say you are. We’re The Killers – and we’re a great rock ‘n’ roll band. Here, let me show you.” And show them, they did.

Supporting The Killers on this tour is the legendary Travis, with frontman Fran Healy quipping to NME, "I did say to Brandon, 'I hope you know we’ll go on every single night and try and blow you off the stage,' and he was laughing. He was like, 'Bring it on,' so it should be brilliant. They’re great guys.”

The tour's energy has been nothing short of explosive. Just last week, both bands teamed up at the OVO Hydrow in Glasgow for a memorable cover of Aztec Camera’s “Somewhere In My Heart.”

Reflecting on the band’s journey, Flowers shared with NME last year, "I’ve been caught up in this whirlwind for 20 years; in this cycle of touring, writing, touring, and writing. The most time we had to reflect was during COVID, and it was quite an awakening process to get time to look through all that we’d done. I’m really proud of the band and the work.”

The "Rebel Diamonds" tour continues at The O2 in London on Sunday, July 7. With more surprises undoubtedly in store, it's clear that The Killers are far from finished proving their rock 'n' roll prowess.
