Twitch history is being rewritten, and Blink-182’s Travis Barker just became part of it. The iconic drummer made a surprise guest appearance during Kai Cenat’s monumental Mafiathon 2, a month-long Twitch subathon aimed at breaking subscriber records and raising funds for a school in Nigeria.
Barker’s electrifying 16-minute drumming session featured Blink-182 anthems like All The Small Things and Dammit, with his intensity briefly overwhelming Cenat’s streaming setup. The performance marked a major highlight in what has already been a star-studded event.
Cenat, one of Twitch’s most prolific creators, launched the subathon in early November and smashed the previous record for subscriptions in under two weeks. Currently sitting at over 560,000 subs, he’s still pushing the boundaries with only days left until the December 1 finale. The subathon has hosted a parade of big names, including Snoop Dogg, Lil Uzi Vert, and Glorilla, with upcoming appearances from Kevin Hart and Druski.
Teasing the Mafiathon earlier this month, Barker’s sister-in-law Kim Kardashian made a cameo in a promotional skit as Cenat’s therapist, hilariously questioning the sanity of his 24/7 streaming schedule.
For Barker, this guest spot comes just weeks after wrapping Blink-182’s massive One More Time world tour. With no shows lined up until their headline slot at next year’s When We Were Young festival, his surprise appearance on Twitch felt like a gift to fans eager to see him in action.
As Cenat’s groundbreaking subathon nears its finale, fans are left buzzing over what other surprises might still be in store. One thing’s for sure: with Travis Barker in the mix, the bar has been set impossibly high.
