Juice WRLD’s new posthumous track, Empty Out Your Pockets, has been brought to life with a stunning official music video created by the team behind Fortnite. The single is part of the late rapper’s final album, The Party Never Ends, released on November 29.
The track made its debut during Fortnite’s epic Chapter Two Remix finale, where Juice WRLD was honored alongside virtual performances by Snoop Dogg, Ice Spice, and Eminem. Following the in-game concert, a visually vibrant, Fortnite-inspired music video for Empty Out Your Pockets was unveiled, showcasing the creative fusion of music and gaming.
Juice WRLD’s mother, Carmela Wallace, shared her heartfelt thoughts about the tribute:
“I know he would be overjoyed to see how his love for games continues to bring people together across different spaces, just like his music does.”
In a statement about the new album, Wallace reflected on her son’s legacy:
“The Party Never Ends’ is finally here. I’m glad Jarad‘s fans are getting the music they have been anxiously awaiting! When Jarad was a toddler, he developed a love for globes that lasted for years; he was fascinated with spinning them. His lyrics were heartfelt and expressed his challenges with mental health and addiction. Jarad’s transparency made people feel like they were not alone; I consider him a pioneer in normalising the conversation about mental health.”
Since Juice WRLD’s passing in 2019, Wallace has championed mental health awareness through the Live Free 999 foundation. The organization focuses on breaking the stigma around seeking help and opening conversations about mental health challenges.
