Lunar FM: A New Radio Station for Minecraft from Styngr

The startup Styngr, known for its innovations in the world of Roblox, has decided to broaden its horizons and focus on Minecraft, which, despite its popularity, has seen a decline in musical events in recent years compared to other games like Roblox and Fortnite. This decision is driven by a desire to bring music elements back into the game and offer players new ways to interact with content.

Styngr is collaborating with developer Moonsworth, who creates modifications for Minecraft using the Lunar Client package. This partnership will enable players to customize various aspects of the game.

The new update includes radio stations featuring licensed music from Styngr. The first station, "Lunar FM," has already launched and is available via subscription for $4.99 per month. A free ad-supported version is planned for release in 2025.

The company also emphasizes that Lunar FM is safe for streamers, offering clear stations that won’t lead to content strikes for those streaming Minecraft.

The end of 2024 has proven productive for Styngr: they also launched the "Soundboard" tool, which allows users to incorporate short music clips for customization across several Roblox games.
